If you have questions like these, then this section of the English Department web site will help you understand the English major and minor from Point A (declaring) to Point B (choosing an option) to Point C (graduating) and beyond.

- gives you information regarding important semester deadlines.

How do I declare an English Major or Minor?
To declare either, you will need to sit down with Cathy Skinner, Coordinator of Undergraduate Advising, whose office is in Shanks 329C. At this meeting, you will discuss major/minor requirements, complete paperwork, and review the specific check sheet. Appointment sign up lists will be posted outside the Undergraduate Advising office or view calendar here.
