Giving Opportunities
in English
The Literature, Language, & Culture Programs
The Literature, Language, and Culture (LLC) programs within the English Department provide the core of its offerings, including literary study, cultural studies, as two pre-professional tracks (pre-education, pre-law). In addition, the MA in English is built around LLC courses.
LLC courses are taught by a gifted and productive faculty who routinely win awards in teaching as well as research and service. Students excel not just in the classroom but also in campus activities.
State and tuition resources fund courses, but a great education includes activities beyond course requirements. An education is enriched by visiting speakers, study abroad, internships, and research opportunities.
Gifts would make possible a number of activities that would strengthen the experiences of students and faculty in the LLC programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
