Student Profiles: Luke Pruitt
Like many people in the field of English studies, I am interested in a wide
array of topics and literature. I am mainly interested in modern and
post-modern or contemporary literature, culture, and theory. Specifically,
I am interested in how culture affects the individual and the influences one’s
environment has living in a contemporary setting. I have not had the
opportunity to pursue many research interests; however, on the graduate level,
I plan to conduct research along these same lines. I will be teaching
a freshman composition class in the spring and hope to incorporate some of
my interests in the class.
