Student Profiles: E. Leigh Fletcher
I am a first year M.A. student with plans to pursue a course of study that will take me deep into the world of post-colonial literature. I obtained my undergraduate degrees in English and History here at Virginia Tech, and look forward to studying a field where I can marry the two fields. I am predominantly interested both in the literature itself that comes out of Africa and the Caribbean and the theory that arises from all nations who struggle with expressing freedom in the language of their former oppressors.
