Student Profiles: Crystal Beach
I received my undergraduate degrees in English (professional writing option) and Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise (science option) from Virginia Tech. My interests include composition and literacy studies, particularly in minority groups, as well as professional writing. I am also interested in the English Education Program here at Virginia Tech and am excited to see how I can incorporate that into my studies, as well. I have a strong background in public/media relations, and currently am working as a graduate assistant for the Center for Organizational and Technological Advancement. After graduation, I plan on entering the teaching field and looking into pursuing my Ph.D., as well.
